UPDATE: If you are here from pinterest, please let me know how this project works for you. It is great and easy to do all in one night. You don't even need patterns, you can see from the picture how to cut out the pieces. Remove the bottom of the box before you begin. The pieces you cut away will give you the extras you need for the tail and propeller. You should be able to see the cut away for people to "enter" will give you both wings. Use lots of tape, and some slits for the tail to piece together.
Do you think I've gone overboard? I think so!!
Got this wonderful idea from pinterest!

I don't have a template, but if you look carefully at the picture above, you should see how to remove the wings. The bottom of the box was cut away, giving you enough extra cardboard to make strips for the circular ring on front, the propellers, and the tail. If your proportions are right, you should only need one box. I think I needed one extra to make the tail too.
